Handwoven in Ibiza, Inner Islands explores the notion of quiet connection - of individual presence within a larger, unseen whole.
Composed through layered fibres and restrained tonal shifts, the work evokes the meeting of arid terracotta land and sedimentary rock, where boundaries dissolve and forms soften. Threads drift, converge, and anchor, creating a surface that is at once grounded and ephemeral.
Drawing on natural processes of erosion, time, and movement, the piece reflects a sense of stillness held within change. It invites a contemplative pause - an awareness of the subtle ties that connect us, even in moments of distance.
A tactile, meditative work that brings depth, warmth, and quiet presence to the space.

A handwoven tapestry wall hanging inspired by the warm pink earth tones of Casa Pedregal in Mexico and the rich, sun-baked landscape of Ibiza. Reflecting shades of clay pink, iron-rich soil, volcanic stone and desert light, the piece explores the inherent beauty found in natural earth pigments and raw materials.
Woven by hand on a primitive loom using waxed polyester yarn traditionally used for sewing leather goods and sourced locally in Ibiza, the tapestry carries both strength and softness. The contrasting pinks, deep browns, and darker tonal shifts evoke layers of land, erosion, and sediment - like a woven fragment of earth itself.
Materials are left intentionally raw and close to their natural state, allowing texture, tension, and imperfection to become part of the work’s presence.

Agave is a handwoven tapestry created on a primitive loom in North Ibiza, composed entirely of materials sourced from the island. Cáñamo hemp yarn is interwoven with dried agave tequilana fibres foraged from the campo as well as bamboo found along the shoreline of Es Portixol.
The composition draws from the pared-back geometry of Ibicencan fincas - the openings in whitewashed limestone walls and shaded porticos that define their architecture. Rooted in a tradition of using only what is available, the work reflects a resourcefulness where material and place are inseparable.
A study in simplicity, Agave explores space, light, and structure through a restrained, tactile language.
